We visited with the intent of spending time at the beach on the central coast - which was only about a 30 minute drive. But this place was so nice, we enjoyed our time there just as much. There’s a lot to do and they thought of basically everything. Relaxing at the beach - to relaxing at the chateau made for a great trip.

Wonderful stay! The house is immaculate, amazing decor, and truly professional hosts. Marilynn and Heidi operate this home with guest satisfaction as top priority and it shows. Anything you could possibly need, they have thought of and provided. Most well-stocked kitchen of any of the dozens of rentals we've stayed at. I'd need double the allowed characters to list all of the details that they've thought of and covered so that your stay here is as stress-free as possible. Great space for our group of 3 families with kids and a dog, everyone was happy and entertained the whole time. Backyard space has several nice features to take advantage of. Location is very convenient to get to anything you need while still feeling private and secluded. We were all really impressed and pleased with our choice to stay here. Will look forward to coming back in the future!

We had a truly wonderful stay at Chateau Vineyard in Atascadero. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The home was absolutely beautiful and spotless, and the grounds were stunning — such a peaceful and relaxing setting.
The kitchen was incredibly well-equipped, which made cooking and settling in so easy. We traveled with our toddler and our dog, and the property worked perfectly for our family. It felt comfortable, spacious, and thoughtfully prepared for guests.
Marilynn, the host, is incredibly detail-oriented, and you can really feel the thoughtfulness she puts into everything. From the overall design and décor to the small touches — the way items are placed, the way the space flows — it’s clear she truly thinks about the guest experience. Nothing felt random; everything felt intentional and welcoming.
Marilynn was also extremely responsive and communicative, replying almost immediately whenever we had a question. Overall, it was amazing!

We spent Christmas at Marilynn's place. It was decorated nicely for the holidays and had 2 Christmas trees.
The dog blankets provided for the dog owners was very useful. Also lots of towels and robes for the hot tub users.
Since it rained a lot during our stay, kids and young adults as well as older adults had fun in the game room.
A nice place to stay.

We had an amazing stay at Marilynn’s. The place was exactly as pictured with beautiful details and thoughtful touches that made the stay super comfortable. The kitchen was very well-stocked with coffee, spices, and tools. The kids enjoyed using the game room. Gorgeous property!

We absolutely loved our stay here — the home was warm, welcoming, and beautifully decorated with Christmas trees and holiday touches that made it feel extra special. It truly felt like home the moment we walked in.
The house had everything you could possibly need for a comfortable vacation — from a fully stocked kitchen to cozy spaces to relax. Everything was spotless, thoughtfully arranged, and clearly cared for.
Marilynn was incredibly responsive and kind, even with my (probably silly!) questions, which made the whole experience completely stress-free.
This place is perfect for anyone looking for a comfortable, well-appointed, and genuinely inviting home away from home. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to future guests!

Perfect place to unwind. No non-sense house rules. The house is complete with kitchen tools. Full coffee bar including syrups that you thought you don’t want. The driveway is full of rosemary and lavender. Smells soo good.
We got to live luxury for a week!

Our stay was amazing, we were on a two week trip throughout California and this was the best AirBnB we stayed at. The house looked great, it was spotless, all of the amenities were as listed. It is a beautiful private home that is an amazing base to explore wine country from!
